Title: Vehicle Mechanic

What Will Your Day Look Like?

Your day will involve inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing light and heavy vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You'll carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, replace defective parts, and perform routine servicing in line with manufacturer and company standards. You'll also complete maintenance records, follow all HSE and workshop safety procedures, collaborate with the wider maintenance team, and support breakdown or emergency repairs whenever required.

How Will You Make an Impact?

• Responsible for the service and appearance of the assigned service truck
• Check vehicle for damage, record hours used, mileage, fuel and other fluid levels
• Inspect equipment and trucks for safety decals and compliance
• Maintain spare parts inventory and immediately inform the line supervisor when replenishment is required 
• Carry out various equipment and vehicles repair and fabrication activities to ensure effective functionality

Education & Experience

• High School Certificate or Technical Diploma.
• 2+ year experience in similar mechanical environment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance & repair.
