Production Team Leader

LOCATION:

Abu Dhabi

PURPOSE:

The Production Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily production activities to ensure efficient operations, adherence to production plans, and achievement of quality and safety standards. The role focuses on leading the production team, optimizing resource utilization, monitoring production performance, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of flour/feed production and packing schedules based on production demand, plant capacity, and planned maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Maintenance team on maintenance and capital improvement activities to ensure minimal disruption to production.
• Monitor production line performance to ensure it meets targets related to quality, productivity and efficiency.
• Support initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity, including implementation of cost reduction and process improvement programs.
• Ensure the plant is maintained in accordance with company GMP and 5S standards throughout the milling and production processes.
• Ensure the health and safety of employees and product quality throughout the entire production process, in coordination with the Quality team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing, preferably within flour or feed production.
• Good knowledge of production and maintenance processes.
• Understanding of quality assurance standards and practices.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Good communication, coordination, and people management skills.
