Shift Supervisor

Shift Supervisor.

Al Foah – Al Saad Al Ain.

What Will Your Day Look Like? 

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the entire production process, from fumigation through to washing and packing. This role oversees all shop floor operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted in strict compliance with the company’s Quality and Food Safety policies. The Shift Supervisor must also work to meet production targets, uphold customer satisfaction, and ensure alignment with budgetary goals.

How Will You Make an Impact? 

• Prepare and coordinate production and packing schedules in alignment with customer demand and plant capacity.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure timely execution of all repair and maintenance activities.
• Continuously monitor production performance to ensure it meets expectations related to quality, productivity, efficiency, stock levels, and cost control.
• Drive improvements in operational efficiency and productivity through the implementation of cost reduction programs.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S standards across the plant.
• Oversee the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and deliver cost savings.
• Ensure the health and safety of all team members throughout the production process, in close coordination with the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) team.

What Would Make You Successful? 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in engineering.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 4 years functional experience, out of which a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.

Functional Knowledge:

• HSE, GMP, and Essential Food Safety training.
• Strong understanding of production processes.
• Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Prior UAE market experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Effective planning and organizational abilities
• Proven people management skills.
