Senior Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

LOCATION:

• Al Foah Al Ain, UAE

PURPOSE:

Perform work orders maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical and diesel-powered equipment of Al Foah Company to ensure smooth functional operation and effective support for related operations. The Senior Maintenance Technician is required to make sufficient physical effort to accomplish the tasks assigned, which include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and machine spare parts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installation & Modification & Testing

• Install new parts of vehicles, equipment, and machines as assigned by maintenance supervisors so that factories and other facilities of the company enjoy complete functionality of all machine-based processes.
• Per supervisor instructions, carry out a variety of equipment, vehicles, and machinery fixing and fabrication activities to support their effective functioning per work orders.
• Run routine and random/preventive testing on the company vehicles, equipment, and machines as assigned by supervisors so that sudden defects are minimized if not avoided at all.

Statements & Reports

• Report to supervisors all equipment records and maintenance orders status with details of work done and faults found to support information availability to meet Al Foah and department requirements and standards for documenting maintenance activities.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Implement approved departmental policies, systems, processes and procedures, and instructions to ensure that all work processes are aligned with Al Foah practices & regulations.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of mechanical maintenance procedures carried out in Al Foah Company factories and accommodation facilities.

Quality, Health & Safety

• Ensure that all relevant quality, health, safety, and environment procedures, instructions, and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of work, and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical Diploma / High School.
• 1-3 years’ experience in the maintenance field.
• Arabic language is required, and the English language is preferable.
