PURPOSE:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing financial models, analyzing data to identify trends, and preparing detailed reports for management. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives while assessing risks and ensuring compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and implement new operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assists in preparation of annual operating plan to obtain services outlined in financial plan.
- Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
- Measure, plan and forecast of Marketing activities and implications to income statement and balance sheet to be able to evaluate and predict the marketing spending and return.
- Prepare and review year-end closing process and documents; to be able to monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable; to ensure to provide periodic review of financial reports and verifies accuracy and fiscal solvency.
- Retrieve and organize data to identify financial discrepancies and resolve all inquiries; recommends solutions to Al Foah to ensure that corrections or changes are implemented properly.
- Direct the general economic studies and business/financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
- Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies using advanced analytical techniques to enhance the management decisions taken.
- Conduct commercial analysis of activities in local/area markets and gather and analyze business information from competitors to prepare recommendations regarding financial plans.
- Coordinate all aspects of raw material with different departments like manufacturing and procurement in Al Foah to set standard costs of products.
- Develop quantitative reports for presentation to senior management and board of directors which help in the strategy improvement.
- Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate departmental MIS statements and reports of the section to meet Al Foah and department requirements, policies and standards.

MININMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance plus Excel experience.
- 6-8 years in a similar position within the Finance Department.
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- CFA or CMA is a plus.
