Sales Supervisor

LOCATION:

Abu Dhabi

PURPOSE:

The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for the implementation of departmental sales and distribution objectives set by the Area Manager / Sales Manager. Supervise day-to-day sales operations in the assigned area in accordance with setting targets. The Sales Supervisor needs to track weekly and monthly performance of the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visit markets, ensure execution of distribution plan to build new customer base to maximize sales.
• Supervise organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
• Identify trends in the market that are likely to affect performance.
• Supervise activities of the sales team including marketing activities like product activations.
• Evaluate the performance of the sales team and find ways to improve the team's performance.
• Supervise and oversee the maintenance of the customer database.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, pricing, sales activities, and active clients.
• Provide competitor and market information periodically to the Sales Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of functional experience in FMCG sales out of which at least 1-2 years in supervision role
• Good knowledge of sales and marketing principles
• Understanding of accounting and finance related to sales
• Knowledge of production and supply chain processes
• Valid UAE Drivers’ License
