What Will Your Day Look Like? 

The Merchandiser will be responsible to call on assigned stores, stock perishable and/or grocery products, execute and implement the 4 Ps objectives for each category/brand by maintaining and monitoring stocks, proper shelving as per the planogram.

He is also responsible for tracking and reporting performance of our products against the competitors in the assigned stores

How Will You Make an Impact? 

Day to Day Operations

• Visit assigned outlets on the agreed route and frequency, logging each visit.
• Execute shelf sets to the planogram: facings, shelf position, and price tickets.
• Check stock levels, rotate products (first in, first out), and remove damaged or expired items.
• Build and maintain share of shelf and visibility, including display units and POS materials.
• Capture and report competitor activity, pricing, and promotions.
• Recommend new orders to the store responsible person and follow up on fulfilment.
• Submit accurate visit reports and photos by end of day.

Competitor Reporting

• Competitor activity reporting to supervisor on pre-defined periodicity

Other Activities

• Reporting on customer / consumer related quality issues.
• Getting to know the customer base and understanding their motivation and sales drivers.
• Maintains customer relationships by visiting store managers, department managers, and employees.

What Would Make You Successful? 

• High School certificate/ Diploma or similar.
• Warehouse related certificate preferable.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in FMCG Companies.
• Good knowledge of Company products and brands
• Good understanding of company’s merchandising guidelines
• Middle east experience preferable.
• Bike license is mandatory.
