What Will Your Day Look Like?  

 

The Key Account Executive – Food Service is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients within the food service channel. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, implementing 4Ps strategies, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction through effective account management and collaboration across internal teams. The incumbent will identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with supply chain and finance to deliver operational excellence and sustainable growth.

 

How Will You Make an Impact?

Sales & Business Development

  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company objectives.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for strategic accounts—from initial contact to deal closure.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth within the food service sector.

  • Achieve or exceed individual sales, 4Ps, and DSO targets.

  • Monitor sales funnel efficiency and ensure regular performance reporting.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute customized account plans to strengthen partnerships with key customers.

  • Deliver exceptional service by proactively addressing client needs and maintaining regular communication.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure timely order fulfillment and service excellence.

  • Maintain accurate client records and provide periodic account status reports to management.

  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, competitor analyses, and account performance summaries.

  • Support receivables reconciliation in coordination with finance and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.

  • Conduct monthly customer reviews and action plans to ensure commercial objectives are met.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Contribute to annual and quarterly budget planning by providing sales forecasts and market insights.

  • Monitor actual performance versus budgets, highlighting deviations and proposing corrective measures.

  • Support development of demand plans and category budgets for assigned accounts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR—to align goals and deliver seamless client service.

  • Coordinate with external partners such as third-party merchandisers and industry stakeholders to enhance visibility and execution at customer sites.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or food service industries.

  • Proven experience managing key accounts and achieving commercial targets.

  • Strong understanding of local FMCG operations, customer service, and supply chain processes.
