Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

LOCATION:

Abu Dhabi

PURPOSE:

The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the warehouse and distribution operations across central warehouses to ensure high service levels at the lowest possible cost. This role also focuses on the continuous improvement of warehouse and distribution operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
• Ensure all inventory, MHEs, hygiene, and safety records are accurate and regularly updated.
• Plan and execute receiving, inspecting, returning, storing, packing, and delivering operations per company’s standards.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in implementing new warehouse-related projects and achieving KPIs.
• Analyze warehouse efficiency and resource utilization daily and implement necessary actions.
• Perform and report daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventory counts, including action plans for variances.
• Monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments and prioritize urgent deliveries.
• Investigate reasons for undelivered/cancelled orders and coordinate corrective actions with Planning, Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service teams.
• Analyze and report warehouse KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly; develop action plans for underperformance.
• Supervise all daily warehouse activities and ensure operational excellence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related subject.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse /logistics operations in FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge with WMS and warehouse KPIs.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety and good warehouse practices.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
